Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Portfolio-Intel platform at portfolio-intel.com (the “Service”), operated by Global Access Incorporated (“Global Access,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Please read them carefully. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1.Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
2.The Service
Portfolio-Intel is an educational and informational platform for self-directed investors. It connects to your brokerage accounts to sync holdings and transactions and provides analytics, watchlists, discovery lists, trade scoring, and related tools across subscription tiers. We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time.
3.Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.
4.Accounts & Registration
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep it current, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may enforce two-factor authentication on certain tiers to protect your account.
5.Subscriptions & Billing
The Service offers free and paid tiers (currently Free, Advanced, Professional, and Pro+). Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (for example, Pro+ at $119.95/month) through our payment processor, Stripe, until cancelled.
- Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before renewal.
- Cancellation. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then.
- Changes. We may change pricing or plan features on prospective notice; changes do not affect the current paid period.
- Taxes. Prices exclude applicable taxes, which may be added.
- Refunds. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
6.SMS / Text Messaging Terms
By opting in to our text-messaging program, you agree to these messaging terms. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.
Program. If you opt in, Portfolio-Intel sends account-security and alert texts — two-factor authentication codes, sign-in verification, and account, security, or position alerts. This is a transactional program; we do not send marketing texts through it.
Opt-in. You consent by checking the SMS-consent box during signup and/or by enabling texts in your account settings, and by verifying your mobile number.
Frequency. Message frequency varies based on your account activity.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply per your carrier plan. We do not charge for texts.
Opt-out & help. Text STOP to cancel at any time, or HELP for help. You may also disable texts in settings. Opting out may disable SMS two-factor authentication and affect sign-in.
Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed.
Our handling of mobile numbers and consent, including that mobile opt-in data is never shared or sold, is described in our Privacy Policy.
7.Brokerage Connections & Third-Party Services
The Service connects to third-party brokerages and providers — including tastytrade (directly) and SnapTrade (for Fidelity and other brokers) — at your direction. tastytrade and other brokers are separate, unaffiliated companies; Portfolio-Intel is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by them. You remain solely responsible for all trades and orders placed in your brokerage accounts. Any order routing, placement, or execution features are tools that act on your instructions; we do not control your broker’s execution, pricing, availability, or data accuracy, and we are not responsible for losses arising from third-party services, outages, or delays.
8.Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service unlawfully or in violation of these Terms; (b) access accounts or data that are not yours; (c) reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure; (d) resell or redistribute the Service or its data without authorization; or (e) attempt to circumvent security, rate limits, or access controls. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
9.No Financial Advice
Portfolio-Intel is an educational and informational platform. Nothing on the Service constitutes financial, investment, tax, legal, or trading advice, nor a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. All analytics, trade scores, discovery lists, and strategy suggestions are informational only and may contain errors or delays. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Options trading carries additional risk and is not suitable for all investors. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions and should consult a qualified financial professional before investing.
10.Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, text, and analytics, is owned by Global Access Incorporated and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. All trademarks and logos of third parties (including tastytrade) are the property of their respective owners.
11.Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or that data (including market or brokerage data) will be accurate or complete.
12.Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLOBAL ACCESS INCORPORATED AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR TRADING LOSSES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
13.Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Global Access Incorporated from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
14.Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
15.Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Rutherford County, Tennessee will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service, and you consent to venue there.
16.Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice through the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
